I’d like to wish everyone at The 19th Battalion a very Merry Christmas! I hope you all get to enjoy the best day of the year with your families and friends. I’m sure Santa was good to everyone this year and delivered some mighty fine presents.
It’s been a business as usual year at The 19th Battalion, some highlights throughout the year included our new website launch as well as being featured by Enjin. Copious amounts of fun had with The Division that saw a high number of community involvement. It’s always excellent when a game launches that see’s the majority of the active community rallying behind it. This year, in my opinion, was a single player heavy year with not a great deal of exciting multiplayer games begging for The 19th’s attention. Sometimes it’s good to sit back unwind and just enjoy talking to one another while chilling with a good single player game.
I thank everyone who continued to log onto the website each day and say Hello, as well as the members who log in to TS3 each night to have a chat with fellow members.
This year saw me take a rather large step back on the activity front due to the birth of my son. There’s nothing more you can offer your new family than being a true hands on Dad and sharing the load. Alexander is getting older now and we are often saying “Where has the time gone?”. He continues to amaze us each day with his developmental milestones.
2017 looks to be a promising year with a good mix of multiplayer titles and single player titles to keep an eye on. The 19th Battalion will be actively recruiting for Wildlands and will keep an eye on the promising looking titles that will be released next year. We will definitely see action with the new Diablo 3 content as well as dabble into Mass Effect: Andromeda’s multiplayer. Personally Mass Effect is the game I’m looking forward to most in 2017!
As always, stay safe out there during the holidays. Rest, recharge the batteries and then we will kick off 2017 with a bang! Remember our community raffle will be drawn on January 1st at 7:00PM Sydney time. Please buy a ticket for your chance at the prize!
Once again, Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year to everyone at The 19th Battalion.
Until the bitter end.
